Q: Can I walk this event?
A: Walkers are invited to participate in this event. Please line up towards the end of the pack if you are walking.

Q: What time do the races start?
A: The race will promptly begin at 9:00 a.m.

Q: Is there a cut off time?
A: Although there is no cut off time, we are expecting all runners to finish within an hour, so we can release the volunteers and open up the roads. If you are unable to finish within an hour, please use sidewalks and shoulders to finish.

Q: Can I register the morning of the race?
A: Yes. Registration opens at 7:30am and closes at 8:30am. However, race day registration is $30 and with over 500 runners expected, it is possible that you may not receive a shirt. We recommend you register early and online to receive the shirt.

Q: Will my GPS work on the course?
A: Yes. You are welcome to wear your GPS watch.

Q: Will the course be clearly marked?
A: Yes. The out and back course will be clearly marked. In the few places where you make turns, or encounter traffic we will have volunteers to direct you where to go. We will also have mile makers. That being said, it is the runners responsibility to stay on the course.

Q: What is the terrain like?
A: The entire race is on a paved road. It is recommended that you wear appropriate running shoes. For the most part, the course is flat; however, there are few small hills.

Q: Will there be food after the race?
A: Yes. Runners will have drinks and snacks after the finish provided by the race committee and other volunteers.

Q: Where do I park?
A: Parking is limited at the park, so we encourage you to arrive early. Volunteers will direct you when you arrive to additional parking within walking distance from the start line. Please follow their instructions. You are strongly encouraged to arrive early to help with the parking situation.

Q: Will there be starting corrals?
A: No, but please use your judgment to line-up according to your running level. If you are an advanced runner, you should be at the front. If you are intermediate runner, you should be somewhere in the middle of the pack. If you are jogging, you should line up behind the runners. If you are walking, please stay at the back. Following these simple guidelines will allow everyone to enjoy the event and avoid unnecessary injuries.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We will still run in the rain. If there is lightning we will delay the start. If we do not foresee a large enough time window to execute the race, the race will be canceled. A rain date will be considered, but it is not guaranteed. Rescheduling is very challenging because of several fixed costs that are non-refundable.

Q: Will there be awards?
A: Yes. We will have awards for the overall Male and Female finishers. In addition to these we have 13 other categories for awards broken down by age and gender. This means if you finish in top three in your age bracket, you will receive an award.
